When we finally arrived at our hotel, we were greeted by a large banner to welcome us to the 10th Assembly of the WCC. The logo has a particular elegance one would associate with Asia. The logo components are:
The birds of peace
stand for our mission to fulfil and spread peace across the earth.
The small tree evokes
life, liberates our hopes, makes our spirit fly, helps us to reach heights and be
free.
The rocks represents
the desert, the dry lands, and the chains that have been clipped to our ankles.
